Terms & Conditions – Maison Borrowed

These Terms & Conditions apply to all rentals made through Maison Borrowed (“we”, “us”, “our”). By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

1. Rental Service

Maison Borrowed provides clothing for temporary rental. All items remain the property of Maison Borrowed at all times.

2. Rental Period

The rental period begins on the delivery date and ends on the agreed return date stated in your order confirmation. Items must be returned by the specified return date using the prepaid return label provided. Late returns may incur a late fee of £15 per day unless agreed otherwise.

3. Delivery & Returns

We offer complimentary UK tracked delivery and returns.

Customers must: Repackage the garment securely, Attach the prepaid return label

Drop off at a Royal Mail location by the return date

Maison Borrowed is not responsible for delays caused by courier services once the parcel is in transit.

4. Care of Garments

Customers agree to:

Handle garments with reasonable care. Avoid permanent alterations

Do not wash or dry clean the garment themselves. Steam only if necessary (no ironing)

Normal wear is expected. However, significant damage may result in repair or replacement charges.

5. Damage & Loss

In cases of:

Irreparable damage, Loss, Failure to return

Maison Borrowed reserves the right to charge up to the retail value of the garment.

6. Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled up to 7 days before dispatch for a full refund.

Cancellations made less than 7 days before dispatch may be subject to a partial refund.

7. Liability

Maison Borrowed is not liable for:

Event cancellation, Fit issues where sizing guidance was provided

Delays caused by postal services

8. Amendments

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time.
